What You Will Learn:

Mandatory Units Section A
Unit 1: Promote Communication in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young People’s Settings
Unit 2: Engage in Personal Development in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young People’s Settings
Unit 3: Promote Equality and Inclusion in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young People’s Settings
Unit 4: Principles for Implementing Duty of Care in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young People’s Setting
Unit 5: Principles of Safeguarding and Protection in Health and Social Care
Unit 6: The Role of the Health and Social Care Worker
Unit 7: Promote Person Centred Approaches in Health and Social Care
Unit 8: Promote and Implement Health and Safety in Health and Social Care
Unit 9: Promote Good Practice in Handling Information in Health and Social Care Settings
Sections B1 and B2 are centre option units which will be made available to you when you enrol.

Who is it for?
- Any one interested in the health care sector
- Already working in the sector and wants to progress to senior care and have some leadership roles
Entry Requirements:
There are no strict requirements except to be able to read and write. You may need to go through a norminal apptitute test.

What is the Duration of course?
Normal duration is 9months.
Maximum 18 months with additional extension fees.
What is the mode of study?
There are two options:
- Distance and Online Learning(DOL)
- Classroom Based Learning(CBL),
- Work based learning with the college mentor

£1500.00 and instalments are allowed at minimum of £250 with an initial deposit of £500.00
